GEORGE DE COURCY-WHEELER
As Senior Portfolio Manager, George has overall responsibility for all asset allocation, manager selection
and investment matters.
Since 1987 he has been involved in many aspects of managing and advising on
investments for private individuals, including asset allocation, fixed income,
equity, manager and fund selection, hedge funds and private equity.
Most recently at Morgan Stanley and from 1995 until 2001 at JP Morgan in Geneva,
he managed investment portfolios for clients in the Middle East. From 1987 to
1995 at the private investment office of a substantial family-owned packaging
business in Switzerland, he ran portfolios for family members, selected and
supervised investment managers in London and New York.
Prior to 1987, he worked for an engineering firm and at the corporate banking
division of Bank of Montreal.
George de Courcy-Wheeler graduated from Trinity College, Dublin with degrees in
engineering and mathematics. He obtained an MBA from IMEDE and holds a Chartered
Financial Analyst charter. He is Irish and Swiss.
